By the time he walked into the studio at twelve years-old to drop the bars for his debut album Hood Bizz back in 2005, LJGOLD came into the game with the full finesse of a lifelong veteran. Even at such an early age, he knew to seize the momentum, support, and wild enthusiasm that instantly surrounded him – LJGOLD started off with his eyes & ears focused on being great from day one; he’s been making the most of his potential on the m-i-c, and with every bold step he’s taken, he’s made giant leaps forward in a lifelong career dedicated to creating cuts to keep the people entertained, 100%.
While evolving rapidly as an artist & refining his natural talents at a superhuman rate as he grew up, the industry immediately took notice – and over the course of the next year alone, LJGOLD quickly rose from dominating local stages & talent shows at schools to sharing a stage with comedian Mark Curry and the legendary D’Wayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Toné!, who would go on to take the young star under his wing.
